Policy Summit was held January 13, 2011
in Thief River Falls, MN. A variety of
presentations were given on the severity
and solutions surrounding youth obesity
and nutrition. A policy brief outlining

Results
from the Warren-Alvarado-Oslo School District
Student Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug
Survey are now online. Overall findings
indicate that while cigarette use is low,
smokless tobacco use is higher than the
state average. Alcohol use by youth and
parental attitudes towards alcohol use
are also problematic.
